The River's Edge Convention Center is home to the "Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame Museum". The museum was created to preserve Minnesota's long history of baseball. The museum celebrates the game of baseball at all levels to include minor league, college, high school, American Legion, VFW and amateur, town-team. It also honors Minnesota born players who have reached the Major Leagues. The museum houses many artifacts to include uniforms, caps, gloves, bats, balls, game day programs, photographs and much more. It is the hope that future generations of amateur baseball enjoy this museum and help carry on the proud tradition.
The museum is located on the second floor of the Convention Center and is open to the public free of charge Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. It is closed on major holidays. Depending on the schedule of events at the Convention Center, the museum may be open on weekends. Please contact the Administration Office at the convention center at 320-255-7272 to check on the hours of operation for a particular weekend.
If you have baseball artifacts that you wish to donate to the Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame or if you need further information, please contact Bob Karn at 320-252-8227.
