Baseball Hall of Fame
The River's Edge Convention Center is home to the "Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame Museum." The museum was created to preserve Minnesota's long history of baseball. The museum celebrates the game of baseball at all levels to include:
- Amateur
- American Legion
- College
- High school
- Minor league
- Town team
- Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW)
It also honors Minnesota born players who have reached the Major Leagues. The museum houses many artifacts to include:
- Balls
- Bats
- Caps
- Game day programs
- Gloves
- Photographs
- Uniforms
- And much more
It is the hope that future generations of amateur baseball enjoy this museum and help carry on the proud tradition.
Location
The museum is located on the second floor of the Convention Center and is open to the public free of charge Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It is closed on major holidays. Depending on the schedule of events at the Convention Center, the museum may be open on weekends. Please contact the Administration Office at the convention center at 320-255-7272 to check on the hours of operation for a particular weekend.
